Konnikova Revision
After:
Dunbar’s theory has been put to the test time and time again since it was brought to light but in recent years with social media and the expansions of social networks people have thousands of friends. Unfortunately those that we meet online don’t always maintain a relationship. For the most part online friends make a total of roughly 200 consistent connections before disbanding. This makes it clear that many if not all online friends whom you haven’t met in person will not remember you in person. Therefore Dunbar has again been proven right and currently his numbers will remain constant but there’s no telling what time will do.
My paragraph is slightly longer but I only made a few changes, mainly wording. Most of my changes didn’t actually alter the paragraph at all but the flow and in my opinion my explanation is much clearer. I could have gone on to mention touch as well and how that affects memory but I didn’t want to make it longer.
