Learning Outcome 5
Although using proper MLA format seems tedious and time consuming it provides a good way to show that your wrok is original while still using other sources to strengthen your writing. A works cited page is where I would reference the texts we read in class as well as any other websites that I might have used to find more information. MLA formatting also includes proper quotations of other sources I found this very difficult to get in the habit of. Once I accomplished this my writing became much more formal and all of my quotes were uniform.
The proper use of MLA formatting make writing much more formal and with a works cited page your paper couldnt be closer to college level writing. A works cited page gives real credibility to your writing and it’s easy to do. You include the authors last and first name, the title of the paper in quotes, the name of the editor, publisher, and year published. Readings done in class are always easy to cite but websites are often more difficult to find information on.

Works cited from essay 3
While I was finalizing my works cited page I went on to quotations in my paper and I learned that it takes even less effort to do that. Begin with quotation marks and once the quote ends add end quotations. However your not done, after the quote name the author and page number of the quote before putting in your period. This makes your reading very professional and allows your readers to easily find your quotes.
“It does not resonate properly to the effects of our actions on groups of people” (Bloom, 2).
